  Mr Zhang Guoyi, Deputy Director-General of Department of Publicity, Cultural and Sports Affairs, Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR, Hong Kong Jockey Club Chairman Mr Michael Lee and Club Stewards officiate the opening ceremony of the National Day Race Meeting.

  Ms Phoebe Tam Lok Hin, Hong Kong Soprano, leads the singing of the National Anthem, accompanied by the Hong Kong Police Band.
